Pastor Maggie Campbell is seeking the services of the following professionals:
Executive Assistants; New Member Service Specialist; Associate Pastors; Sales
Associates
1. Executive Assistant (2 Part Time positions available. Duties below will be split.)
Requirements: Must be ages 21 years or older. Experienced working as an
executive and/or personal assistant for Pastors and/or church leaders. Must be
available on Sundays and at least 3 days during the week including Wednesdays.
Must be able to travel locally and outside the area as needed. Must be computer
literate and proficient on MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and comparable
programs. Must have professional phone voice, strong attention to details and
general office skills including filing, taking phone messages. Must have a strong
command of the English language.
Qualifications Highly Desired: The right person will be slow to anger and eager
to do an excellent job assisting Pastor Maggie with her duties and responsibilities
at the Church of the Living God, Women in Ministry Leadership Training and
Marriage and Family Therapy sessions. The right person will understand and be
willing to be discrete and keep sensitive issues confidential. The right person will
have an in-depth knowledge of the Bible and the basic overall order of service and
bible study arrangements. The right person will be a mature individual with life
experience to draw on that will help them to be able to do an excellent job in all
the duties assigned to them.
Primary Duties include: Scheduling appointments, processing applications for
students of the Women in Ministry Training Program, coordinating vendor
services, insuring that everything is in place prior to the beginning of Sunday
services and special occasions as it relates to Pastor Maggie Campbell's sermon
schedule and speaking engagements.
2. New Member Service Specialists: (3 Volunteer positions):
Qualifications Required: Must be 18 years or older. Must be available on
Sundays. Must attend new member's class in order to learn what other new
members will be taught in order to answer questions of new members from time to
time. Experience not required but desired. Must have a strong command of the
English language.
Primary Duties: Will be trained. When individuals join the Church of the Living
God, your duties will be to escort them to our new member’s classroom, enroll
them in the next available new members class, provide them with new member
packets and be available for a few minutes after service to answer their questions.
You will follow up with the new members on a routine basis to make sure that they
are doing ok in the new member's program.
3. Associate Pastors & Church Leaders: (Volunteers):
Qualifications Required: Must be 18 years or older; available on Sundays and 2 -
3 days per week. Must attend New Pastor's orientation class; must be previously
ordained under the direction of another Pastor, Elder, or Bishop, or be willing to
attend Ministry Training to obtain this requirement. Must have in-depth
knowledge of the Bible and be willing to learn. Must have a strong command of
the English language. The right person will have an in-depth knowledge of the
Bible and the basic overall order of service and bible study arrangements. The
right person will be a mature individual with life experiences to draw on that will
help them to be able to do an excellent job in all the duties assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain a Sermon schedule to assist Pastor Maggie
Campbell with delivering the Word on Sundays and during various special events
held at the Church of the Living God as needed. Teach one or more of the classes
available and work in the ministry area within your 'calling' such as: Women in
Ministry Leadership Training, New Member Training, Pastor Orientation Class,
and Ministry to Men Sessions, Children's Ministry, Compassion Ministry,
Counseling Ministry, Music & Theatre Ministry, Intercessory Prayer, Ushers and
Baptism Services.
4. Sales Associate: (3 Commission paid positions)
Qualification Requirements: Must be ages 21 years or older. Experienced working
in sales environment with proven success. Must have strong attention to details.
Must be available on Monday - Thursday and occasional Saturday and Sundays.
Must be able to travel locally as needed. Must be bondable, trustworthy and have
a strong command of the English language. Must be computer literate and
proficient on MS Word, Excel and comparable programs. Must have a
professional phone voice, strong attention to details and general office skills
including filing, taking phone messages, organizational skills and goal oriented.
Qualifications Highly Desired: Strong command of the Spanish Language highly
desired but not required. The right person will be slow to anger and eager to do a
excellent job meeting and exceeding their goals as it relates to advertisement and
books sales and ticket sales to special events. The right person will have an in-
depth knowledge of the Bible and the basic overall order of service and bible study
arrangements. The right person will be mature individuals with life experiences to
draw on that will help them to be able to do an excellent job in all the duties
assigned to them.
